Well, it has happened again I've been sucked right into another crime drama! (fist in air)The rest of the house is sleeping, hubby, kids, dogs and here i sit eating a bowl of cereal and blogging in disappointment with myself. I can't help but feel slightly hosed that tomorrow is October 1st and the weather man is boasting of a cool front and all impressed that its in the high 80's instead of 90's. My solution to dec the house out with fall leaves and pumpkins and crank down the AC! (don't forget to close the blinds as not to see the palm trees)
Life at Casa DelBusto has been nothing short of par! Bubby stuck a pea in his nose at dinner and we had to wrestle him down to get it out with only the greatest invention ever made... that nose suctions thingy extractor! We are fairly confident we traumatized him from repeating this behavior (she says with fingers crossed)
Bella has been completely taken with school and loves all things related! She loves to sing, say her Bible verse of the week and inform everyone in the family including the dogs when we are not being a good listener and we will most certainly get our name on the board! She has a new sense of situations that need prayer and insists we stop everything we are doing about twice an hour to ask Jesus to heal! She grasps her hands together tightly and squeezes her eyes shut and prays with her whole heart!
Lastly I've been twiddling away at Christmas shopping and almost have it complete (insert we are the champions song along with crowd applause here) My goal this year is to shop sales and get the Christmas cheer at half the price! This way I can sort of justify how completely over board I go with the holidays to my frugal hubby. he's learning to love this part of me! ;)
oh, so happy October and maybe tomorrow I will have the time to shower (she says with fingers crossed) A gal has to have goals!
